## Introduction

If you are reading this on your phone during a lunch break, squeezed into a minibus seat, or after putting the children to bed, you already know the feeling: the month is long, and the salary or allowance is short. Prices at the market keep climbing, rent is due, and that one relative always calls right when you have just paid for data. You do not need another lecture about budgeting what little you have. You need a practical way to bring in more of it.

That is what this guide is for.

I am Ephraim Nyadowa, and through SALE-RITE ENTERPRISE here in Lusaka, I have watched ordinary people build small, steady side incomes using skills they already had sitting idle. A teacher who started tutoring two students after school. A young man who fixed phone screens from a table outside a shop in town. A mother who baked scones on weekends and sold them to neighbours through a WhatsApp group. None of them started with a loan or a business plan full of big words. They started with what they had, where they were, this month.

This guide is written for three kinds of people:

- **Employees** who have a fixed income but want a cushion, or who are saving towards something specific — school fees, a plot, a better phone, a wedding. - **Students** who have more time than money and want to earn without abandoning their studies. - **Job seekers** who need income now, while still looking for formal employment, and who may discover that the side income becomes the main income.

If you fall into any of these groups, nothing here requires you to resign from your job, drop out of sch
